Parallel Session: Banners-Making for Dyke March

Get creative and make your voice seen! Join us for a hands-on banner-making workshop in preparation for the Dyke March happening the next day. Whether you come with a clear message or just the urge to express yourself, this is the space to craft bold, powerful, and visible statements of resistance, pride, and solidarity. All materials will be provided – just bring your ideas, your energy, and your rage or joy (or both)! Let’s make sure our messages are impossible to ignore!

Facilitator: Isabel Sophie (she/her) – Women’s and lesbian rights activist from Germany who recently moved to Slovenia for love. She is currently active in and around Slovenia and Austria. In 2021, she founded the Dyke March Ruhr*, an organisation advocating for the rights and visibility of lesbian and queer women, as well as FLINTA+ persons. In addition to organising Dyke* Marches, the organisation aims to bring public attention to broader issues of feminism and equal rights, while also working to connect and empower marginalized communities.
