EL*C invites its members to an online workshop focused on economic empowerment as a key pathway to advancing the socio-economic position of lesbians and securing long-term financial power and sustainability for lesbian organizations and communities.

Lesbians across Europe and Central Asia continue to face systemic barriers to economic security, including discrimination in employment, limited access to resources, and exclusion from economic decision-making. Strengthening economic power is essential for both individual livelihoods and the long-term resilience and independence of our organizations.
👉 This workshop will focus on:
- The importance of economic empowerment for lesbian communities and organizations
- Securing financial sustainability and autonomy through social enterprises
- Influencing policy processes related to economic justice and inclusion
- Capacity-development and networking activities among EL*C member organizations
The event will also feature a presentation of EL*C’s Economic Empowerment Programme, including:
- An overview of the programme’s objectives and activities
- A dedicated focus on forthcoming financing opportunities for lesbian-led social enterprises run by EL*C member organizations
