At a time when lesbian lives, voices, and organizing are under growing pressure across Europe and Central Asia, coming together is not only powerful – it is necessary.
EL*C invites its member organizations to apply for the second edition of the Lesbian Summit, a biennial gathering created to strengthen lesbian leadership, sharpen our collective strategies, and deepen solidarity across our movements. The next Lesbian Summit will take place in Eressos, on the island of Lesbos, from 1–7 June 2026. Participants are expected to arrive on 1 June and depart on 7 June.

WHAT IS THE LESBIAN SUMMIT
The Lesbian Summit is a space by and for lesbian organizations and groups – a space to pause, reflect, and act together. It brings lesbian leaders from across Europe and Central Asia into the same room to confront shared challenges, imagine bold futures, and build coordinated responses.
During the Summit, we will:
- Engage in strategic and political discussions about the realities shaping lesbian lives today
- Take stock of the state of the lesbian movement and our collective power across the region
- Define shared priorities and actions to strengthen our resistance, resilience, and visibility
- Learn from one another through peer exchange, mutual support, and solidarity
- Invest in leadership development and collective care for those carrying responsibility in our movements
The Summit will combine facilitated political discussions, collaborative sessions, and time to build trust, relationships, and long-term alliances.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
- Representatives of EL*C member organizations
- Those holding coordination or collective decision-making roles within their organizations and groups
- One representative per organization
WHAT IS COVERED?
EL*C will cover all costs of participation, including:
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Visa costs (if applicable)
Places are limited, and a selection process will be carried out to ensure diversity, balance, and regional representation.
HOW TO APPLY
Representatives of member organizations wishing to participate should complete the application form by 15 January 2026, 17:00 CET
All applicants will be notified of the outcome by 30 January 2026.
