Italian, transfeminist, lesbian activist Angelica Polmonari is a “glocal” advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights. She serves as Chair of ILGA World’s Women’s Committee; Co-Secretary of the EuroCentralAsian Lesbian* Community (EL*C); International and National Advocate for Arcigay; and President of Arcigay Modena “Matthew Shepard”.
She works as a Policy Advisor, Project Manager, and Consultant for international, national, and local NGOs and institutions fostering LGBTQIA+ rights. She is also a certified professional trainer on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), gender equality, gender-based violence (GBV), and LGBTQIA+ allyship in the workplace.
