Parallel Session: Lesbians Feminist, Queer, Crips

24 April @ 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

In the first part, we’re bringing together an amazing group of activists from across Europe to talk about disability justice within the lesbian movement and to share their experiences of building community at the intersection of queerness and disability.
In the second part, it’s your turn! We’re creating space for lesbian, bi, and queer (LBQ) people with disabilities to share thoughts, needs, priorities, and ideas for collective strategies. This is about shaping our movement together. Not disabled but passionate about disability justice? No worries!
There will be a parallel session for allies and experts to engage, reflect, and contribute as well.

Facilitator: Carla Maria Reale (she/they) – Postdoctoral researcher, transfeminist activist, and cultural organizer. Their interdisciplinary research explores how law addresses material bodies, complex identities, and equality. Board member of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at the University of Trento.
