Ewa Dziedzic

Dr. Ewa Dziedzic was born in 1980 in Poland and migrated with her family to Austria in 1990. She graduated in the academic studies of philosophy, journalism and political science at the University of Vienna. She is the cofounder of the following associations: ViennaMix and MiGaY (The association of the advancement from lesbian/gay and transgender migrants) and has been the long standing chairperson of CSD Vienna (organisation of Vienna Pride). She has been active as an instigator for nearly 20 years in numerous women’s political NGO projects such as; One Billion Rising, Her mit Mehr, Lesbian’s Pride and congress of Polish women in Austria. Currently she is an advisor in the Austrian Women’s Circle (Frauenring), a member of the Austrian Federal Council and LGBTI spokesperson for the Austrian Green Party.
