Tanja is a woman and transgender woman, a human rights expert, teacher, a multiprofessional expert, participating in several projects about Transgender rights and health. She is one of the key persons in the renewal of the trans law in Finland, currently Executive Director of the NGO Transfemininiit, Vice-Chair of the Federation of LGBTI organisations in Finland, SETA and former Co-Chair TGEU Transgender Europe.
