Aïda Yancy is a lesbian feminist antiracist activist and educator specializing in intersectional social justice. With expertise in race and racism, LGBTQI+ issues, migration, and safer spaces, she advocates for the rights and inclusion of multi-marginalized individuals everywhere she goes. She identifies as a Black Dyke on a mission who in her spare time likes to make things with thread and read books written by Black or Poc women and queer people.

She is the author of the Equalcity “Safer Spaces for LGBTQI+ people with a migrant background” toolbox and has recently joined the EL*C team as Advocacy Officer (and Research Coordinator).
