Parallel Session: Creating a Common Strategy for Trans and Lesbian Healthcare

In the face of growing repression, this workshop invites participants into a dialogue on the current challenges and shared realities of trans and lesbian healthcare. Expanding beyond cisgender lesbian healthcare, we will focus on the diverse experiences and needs of transgender lesbians and nonbinary people across borders.

Together, we will explore often-overlooked issues such as the intersections of race, migration, queerness, neurodivergence, and eating disorders, as well as the political impact on access to healthcare for trans and lesbian communities. We’ll also discuss how to strengthen support strategies rooted in community care, resistance, and collective action.
